      While building a new house, we decided we would like some built in bookcases. Our contractor recommended C&E Custom builders. We had three custom bookcases built and they are beautiful. After moving in we struggled with how best to store our many spices. I saw a pull out free standing shelf at various furniture sites that seemed like something that would work but they were made for canned goods, etc. and the shelves were too large for spices. I asked Carston if he could make something similar to what I had seen, but with dimensions that would be reasonable for spices. He built me a five inch wide shelf so that I could store spices on both sides. It is a little over six feet tall so it can store both regular spice jars and larger Costco style spice containers. I am in love with it. It is not only practical, it is very nice looking and very stable. It fits between two shelving units and rolls out when I need it. I will call Carston for any future shelving needs.
